I bring a professional Human Resources background built on collaboration, navigating complex systems, working across organizations, and getting results through relationships rather than just authority. That's exactly the kind of skillset we need on the Wheaton City Council.
My Story
Meet Jackie
I was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs, moved to DuPage County in 2014, and eight years ago my husband and I decided to make Wheaton our home. We love everything Wheaton has to offer:

Riding our bikes on the Prairie Path

Grabbing drinks and dinner at our excellent restaurants

Relaxing in our parks

Attending local concerts and festivals

Staying active at Parks Plus Fitness at the community center
… the list could go on and on!
Wheaton residents consistently rate their quality of life among the highest in the nation, and that is something to be proud of. Feedback from the 2025 community survey highlights the great progress that has been made by the City Council and staff. The biggest accomplishment: 98% of residents surveyed are satisfied with their quality of life in Wheaton!
Wheaton is a city that works, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t challenges to tackle and opportunities for improvement. I believe this city deserves representation that meets the moment, and builds toward the future our community expects.
As Wheaton has become a destination in the suburbs, traffic and parking have become pain points. And while Wheaton provides many services our residents want or need, many aren’t aware of everything the City has to offer.
I'm running on three commitments, and I'll keep them simple:

A Well-Funded Wheaton means every city service (our public safety, our infrastructure, our library, and more) has the resources it needs to serve every resident. The Wheaton budget is very tight, and in recent years, the city has not funded the Library to the levels needed. This is a sign that we need to think more strategically about city revenue.
Widening the Net means we build a financial foundation for Wheaton that grows with the needs of the City. We must find ways to bring in revenue that doesn't put the burden solely on property taxpayers, and doesn't force us to choose between the services our community depends on.
Working Together means no city can solve its biggest challenges alone. Traffic doesn't stop at city limits, and stormwater doesn't follow municipal boundaries. The biggest opportunities and challenges for Wheaton require us to partner with our neighboring communities and governing bodies from the local to the federal level.
